A CHP Super Hero

Bobby, a 7 year old from Alamo, who was concerned that children involved in terrible traffic collisions and traumatic incidents needed to be comforted in a special and thoughtful way. In just three short years Bobby, with the help of some of his great friends (Bobby’s Bandaid Brigade and Pledge to Humanity), has donated over 4,000 teddy bears to the California Highway Patrol. In turn, we carry these new “beat partners” with us in our patrol vehicles to distribute them to children who need a soft friend to feel safe amidst their tragic circumstances, sometimes involving incapacitated parents.

Thanks to your help, Bobby's Brigade has provided a Teddy Bear for every Highway Patrol 1st responder vehicle throughout the state of California each year since 2014.In 2018 Bobby's Brigade supplied the same Teddy Bears for every Highway Patrol 1st responder vehicle in 5 states: Alaska, Alabama, Arkansas, California, and New York. We buy teddy bears in bulk, which brings the cost down to $2.00 per Teddy Bear.
